February 8 marks the Feast Day of Saint Josephine Bakhita, the patron saint of victims of human trafficking and modern slavery. Born in Sudan, she was kidnapped and sold into slavery, enduring unimaginable suffering. Yet, through her journey, she discovered the love of Christ and blossomed into a beacon of hope.
